The National Weather Service will continue the freeze warning for the Sacramento Valley, Delta, and northern San Joaquin Valley through mid morning today. Light north winds and dry air have produced another cold morning across the interior valleys of Northern California. Temperatures this morning have dropped to as low as the mid 20s some areas with most areas in the Central Valley and Delta at or below freezing. Precautions should be taken to protect plants and pets. Those driving cars left outside during the night should allow extra time for clearing windshields of frost. Tempertures should climb above freezing most areas by 9 a.m. this morning.
